This program carries us through the “Ruta Altiplánica de Integración”, which crosses the Chilean altiplano region from north to south, from the Lauca National Parkto San Pedro de Atacama. The road extends more than of 1.000 kms. at 4.000 meters above sea level (13.120 feet) with the beautiful landscapes, lagoons, salt flats, hot springs, wide variety of wildlife such as guanacos, vicuñas, vizcachas, guallatas, nandus, pink flamingos, flocks of lamas and alpacas, volcanoes at more than 6.000 meters (19.680 feet), great open spaces, isolated indigenous villages in the mountains, aymaras and atacameños shepherd and colonial churches. And for acclimatization to the altitude we will do treks and mountain climbing of Irruputuncu and Lascar Volcanoes or others.
In summary, this is a trip full of emotions and experiences while getting to know the life of indigenous communities, the wildlife and the great Chilean altiplano.
