Altitude: 3.200 – 4.300 masl.

4 to 7 hours march journeys very good physical condition.

Baggage transportation:
- In 4 wd vehicle
- The client only carry a bag for the day activities

Weather: Mountain steep weather very stable but with a variation from day to night Average temperature 18ºC during the day and 5ºC at night.

Accommodation: Double cabins private bathroom Belen, camping tents during the 4 journeys of trekking; Hotel accommodations when in Putre and Arica.

Groups: 4 to 9 participants. Minimum 2

Including : transportation, accommodation meals and specialized guide.

Not included: Medical insurance and spirits beverages.

Outstanding trekking route that take us through the ancient aymara history, walking the old and the silver route, used by the conquerors to transport the silver from the mines in Alto Peru nowadays Bolivia to Spain via Arica and Panama. All our journey with the impressive landscapes, flora and fauna surrounding us. Our trip concludes at the lakeshore of the chungara lake, one of the highest of the planet at 4.570 masl. This journey invite us to dream about the open spaces at the highlands and the majestic of the Andes.
Day 1: Arica, Transfer In. Visit to the archaelogical museum of Azapa to know the Chinchorro mummies the oldest in the world. Overnight in Arica.
Day 2 : Transfer to Belén at 3.260 masl , with stops in archaelogical sites. Accommodatios at Kalamarka cabins.
Day 3: Trekking Belén- Ticnamar with the view of pampa Oxaya and guanacos in the surroundings. Camping in Tents.
Day 4: Trekking Ticnamar- Timalchaca, the most importnt religious sactuary in Parinacota Province. Visit to its Church. Campin overnight in tents.
Day 5 : Trekking Timalchaca –Caracota Lagoon.We cross in front of the Cerro Marquez and surround Anocarire hill with its stunning red and wihite colors. Overnight in tents.
Day 6: Trekking from Laguna Caracota to Salar de Surire (polloquere hot pools). spectacular view of the salt flat with an invigorating hot spring bath at the end, at the polloquere hot springs at 4.200masl.
Day 7: We head to the Lago Chungará, through Las Vicuñas National reserve. Camping near the lake.
Day 8: Trekking Cotacotani-Parinacota visiting this interesting andino colonial village and its church, with fresco paintings in its walls.Hotel accommodations in Putre.
Day 9 : Transfer transfer Putre – Arica and Out.
